Mounting takes place via swivel arm or the hot shoe of the DSLR-camera and the GoPro can be mounted to the swivel arm via the 1/4 inch tripod adapter. The set includes another adapter for mounting smaller cameras to any of the GoPro fastening adapters via 1/4 inch screw
