External monitor for easy work
When watching movies with DSLR and CSC cameras, external monitors are very important. Especially the exact sharpness can not be judged on the small camera monitors. A large display, a focus assistant (peaking) and a zebra marking of overexposed areas are important helpers and often decide on the quality and professionalism of filming.

IPS LCD display with Full HD resolution
IPS LCD displays are perfect for filming thanks to high color accuracy and rich color reproduction. The IPS technology (English for in-plane switching) reduces the image angle dependence of the contrast. Thus, less changes of colors and contrasts occur even when changing the angle of view.

Software assistants for technical support
The walimex pro Director III has all the usual wizards to help you with your recordings. A focus assistant is used to trace high contrast edges in color. Thanks to his support, sharpening trips are more precise and faster to implement. The zebra setting marks overexposed spots. The sensitivity of the brightness display can be defined in 5% steps. A histogram additionally serves to control the brightness distribution. For visual monitoring of the sound signal, a volume indicator can be switched on. You can acoustically control the incoming audio signal via a 3.5 mm jack.

Feedback of the sound signal
Feedback may occur when a speaker is playing the signal from a microphone while the microphone is picking up that signal again. The signal is amplified, reproduced through the speaker and an electro-acoustic loop is created. The walimex pro Director III has a loudspeaker box to reproduce filmed recordings acoustically. During the filming process, the Director III offers the following measures to avoid feedback: 1. Turn the volume of the monitor to "zero". 2.In the menu, set the "Mute" switch to "on". 3. Use a headphone. 4. Make sure there is enough distance between monitor and microphone (external).

Gelarmarm and twist protection
The set consists of a hinged arm Magic 18 and a walimex pro twist protection. The walimex pro articulating arm anti-rotation prevents articulated arms from loosening at the point of connection between ¼ "screw and bore due to leverage.

Easy and safe installation
The lower part of the anti-twist device can be easily attached to a rig or cage using two 1/4 inch screws (included). The adapter is designed so that you can alternatively mount your articulated arm on other surfaces, such as wood or concrete. Two slotted holes ensure that different hole distances are possible. The articulated arm is turned over its 1/4 inch threaded bolt into the 1/4 inch internal thread of the anti-rotation device and additionally securely fixed with the existing Allen screw.
The upper part of the anti-twist protection is also fixed with a hex screw after screwing in the articulated arm. An Allen key is included. Accessories to be mounted on the articulated arm are placed on the accessory holder and conveniently secured with a 1/4 inch thumbscrew. A cumbersome screwing the accessories on the articulated now completely eliminated. The screw has recesses so that it can be tightened with the Allen key. A rubber plate on the accessory holder also protects against slipping.
