Skilfully illuminate photo and video motifs - with these versatile area lights from our Niova series. These powerful, versatile, professional area lights are suitable for lighting portraits, groups, individuals and other subjects, such as products or food, as well as for illuminating backgrounds. The area lights thus fulfil the wishes and needs of demanding and professional users in the field of photography and video.

Powerful Bi Colour area lights from the Niova series
Consistent output at any colour temperature: a full 900 energy-efficient SMD LEDs with up to 0.2 W each generate a luminous flux of up to 9,000 lumens. The white light can be dimmed between 10 and 100 % in 1 % steps, and the colour temperature can also be adjusted between 3,200 and 5,600 K in 100 K steps. The colour rendering index CRI as well as TLCI are both above 97 Ra, which guarantees you a colour-stable light according to your wishes.

Soft light, hardly any shadows
Thanks to the wide beam angle of 120°, you can choose from a wide variety of lighting scenarios. For example, it is easy to illuminate larger areas such as backgrounds softly and gently. With the two diffuser discs included, soft and ultrasoft, you can further influence the lighting characteristics. Ultra-soft light that hardly casts any shadows is thus easily possible. With the barn doors you can control the diffusion of the light and shade areas. Take advantage of the many possibilities for your photo as well as video projects.

Simple operation
Operate the surface area luminaires conveniently directly on the unit, where a display shows you all the settings you have made, or from up to 50 metres away using the remote controls supplied. In addition, the luminaires can be integrated into a DMX universe with the enclosed cable and controlled remotely via DMX512. Perfect especially when several luminaires are switched in chain. This is easily possible because each luminaire has a DMX input and a DMX output. Daisy-chaining several luminaires is therefore very easy. The luminaires are attached to the lighting stand with a standard 5/8 inch spigot. They are therefore compatible with practically all commercially available lamp stands.

High-quality materials
The housing, the U-bracket and the barn doors of the lamps are made of high-quality aluminium alloy. This makes the housing very stable and resilient even during intensive outdoor use.

Silent, passive cooling - ideal for videos
The luminaires are passively cooled by cooling fins and are therefore noiseless, making them ideal for video shoots and other applications where sound is a critical factor, such as baby photography.

Flexible use thanks to battery mount
Thanks to the connection for a V-mount battery on each light, the Bi-Color area lights can also be operated independently of the mains, for example for outdoor shoots on location. V-mount batteries are available separately.

Tripods:
Flexible tripods for versatile applications
Bring your lights, flashes, reflectors and other equipment reliably and safely up to a height of 256 cm with the Walimex pro WT-806 lamp tripods. With these tripods, you can work outdoors as well as in the studio with ease. Set them up within a few seconds thanks to well thought-out controls. Thanks to wing screws, you can adjust the working height between 102 and 256 cm just as quickly. The load capacity of 6 kg each allows you to mount even larger, heavier equipment.

Work safely and efficiently
The safe stand of the lamp tripods, even with the centre columns fully extended, is convincing in everyday work. The low weight of only 1.6 kg each and the compact packing size of 98 cm each make them particularly easy to store and transport. The spring damping in the segments of the centre column ensures safe lowering of the individual elements. The 5/8 inch spigot connections (16 mm spigot) at the top are the standard connection for all kinds of equipment in the photo industry. On top there is a standard 1/4 inch thread on which you can attach various equipment with a corresponding threaded hole. With the help of the enclosed adapter, you can also use a 3/8 inch thread at this point. Thanks to the adjustable metal locks and the solid components, the Walimex pro WT-806 lamp tripods are designed for a long service life.
